Butchery and Bakery products are being produced daily fresh and delivered to a wide collection of shops and supermarkets in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin and other destinations in Thailand.

How did it all start? The business was established 28 years ago, by Mr. Otto Duffner. Born in Triberg and raised in Königsfeld, both in the Black Forest region of Southern Germany, Khun Otto came to Thailand in 1981, following the calls from Bangkok’s Boonroad Brewery, to take on the Head Chef position of the newly opened Singha Bierhaus.

A few years later, in July 1984, Khun Otto decided he wanted to establish his own business in Bangkok and opened “Bei Otto” restaurant and bakery at Sukhumvit Road, between Soi 12 and 14. As the demand for German culinary flair grew over the years, in 1990 he decided to move location and relocated the restaurant, bakery and delicatessen to its current location at Sukhumvit Soi 20.

According to Khun Otto his inspiration was to strive and make guest feel like they would be at home in Germany. In modern days, this family business has grown into a sizable company with 70 employees and it continues its path to further expand its potential.
